Virginia’s Amazing Vultures – Now at Huntley Meadows Park
Join us on Sunday, March 8, 3 p.m., for wildlife rehabilitator Heather Shank-Givens’ presentation on Virginia’s fascinating vultures and meet black vulture, wildlife ambassador, Dusty. Because early voting equipment is in the Mount Vernon Government Center room, we cannot use the room and will hold this meeting at the Huntley Meadows Park Visitor Center. Use the Lockheed Boulevard entrance to the park.
FODM will hold its annual meeting and election for officers and the Board of Directors before the presentation on vultures.
Parking Alert: Please try to carpool, as parking could be limited that day. There is public street parking on Lockheed Boulevard and Harrison Road. Please allow yourself time to walk from there if needed.
